Miss Brooklyn Bio

Brooklyn has always had so much energy! At the young age of 3, she began dancing and it was clear that it was part of her soul. She started dancing competitively at the age of 6 and has trained in many styles such as hip hop, jazz, lyrical, tap, contemporary, acrobatics, aerial acro, ballet, and pointe. Brooklyn is currently working on earning her Grade 4 Cecchetti Ballet Certificate.  Brooklyn has received many special awards at competitions such as “Top Senior Soloist”, “Adjudicators Choice Awards”, and “Overall High Score Awards” for the entire competition. She has received a multitude of scholarships over the years including the Cadence Dance FinalsBe DiscoveredShine Nationals, and the Pure Dance Convention. She attended the Pure Dance Convention and had the opportunity to train with the cast of “The Next Step” in Toronto. At the convention, Brooklyn received the Faculty Choice Award and now has a scholarship to attend again next year.

She has been assisting classes at ATJ for two years now and thoroughly enjoys working with young dancers. Dance has taught Brooklyn to always work hard, do her best, and believe that anything is possible. She believes that dance builds character and life long-lasting friendships. She has danced at ATJ for most of her life and it has become her second family. She is excited to watch her family grow and can’t wait to see what the future holds for all of us!
